Beyond DNA

Do you believe humans are born inherently good, bad or as a blank slate? 🧠

Science and spirituality actually have a fascinating answer to this.🧬✨️

For a long time, philosophers argued about this.
John Locke thought we were a blank page (Tabula Rasa).
Thomas Hobbes thought we were naturally selfish.

But modern science says otherwise.
Twin studies show that our moral baseline; things like empathy and fairness, is roughly a 50/50 split between our genetics (nature) and our environment (nurture).
Babies are actually born with an innate “moral core”!

When you overlay spirituality onto this science, a powerful truth emerges;

• Genetics gives us our physical blueprint, (our baseline brain chemistry).
• Environment gives us our external trials (our life circumstances).
• But Spirituality gives us Free Will.

In many traditions, your biology and your upbringing are simply the exact starting conditions your soul needs for this lifetime.
Neither your DNA nor your past defines you.
Your soul always has the ultimate power to choose love, empathy and higher consciousness over raw programming.

You aren’t a blank slate, you are a masterpiece in progress, holding the pen to write your own story✍️
