The Value of Flow in One’s Life
After achieving dinosaur rank, I see it like this. Some of you know me, and the amount of time I’ve been teaching so I won’t repeat here for street credit. I’m not sure how many years of teaching I have left in me but as far as money making skills, it’s probably the thing I am most potentially profitable at here at 54.
Think of the Renaissance Faires, A 54 year old preacher, butcher, baker, or candlestick maker is not going to apprentice anywhere: he’s stuck til he dies. Good thing I chose teaching because I have a passion for people and helping them if I can. To me, that’s what teaching is. Next month I have an interview for a position teaching college full time. God I hope I get it. It would almost be too good to be true.
I don’t want it if the universe says no. That’s the newer Damien. Maybe the adversity of the past 5 or so years has conditioned me to think that way. I think that mindset is worth more than any job. Anyway I already teach and deliver Uber. I love my life. So we’ll see what’s up. May you find the value of flow in your lives.
