#NowWatching “Cooley High” (1975)

A classic! Coming of age movie set in a cityscape of Chicago. “My Girl” and so many other great songs. Many familiar actors in their youth incl. Glynn Turman, Lawrence-Hilton Jacobs, & Garrett Morris. 10/10

I was amp’d to do a podcast on “BlackKklansmen” tonight but changed my mind. The movie was mild and though I loved the message of anti prejudice “Power to ALL the people” it doesn’t have the comedic or dramatic stuff that usually propels me to create an episode. 8/10
