If you had a time machine and could send just one message to your past self, what would it say?
In other words: My younger self was always a people pleaser with regards to choice of career. At 23 I was invited to go to the UK with an act named Dave Sharp. I was too frightened, I went to University instead and taught k12 and college aged students for nearly 30 years. It wasn’t a fit, I hated my alarm. Now, I am divorced, my 3 adult kids are all out living amazing lives, contributing to the good of their world. I am proud of my children but I should have thrown off fear and been a world musician decades ago. My art woman Dewi S (not her real name) believed in me and woke me up. I would advise young Damien to drop out of university no matter what his parents say. Now, I guess its moot point because now my inly job is music, finally at 57 in 2026.
